Bowling For Soup live at The Academy (One Big Happy Tour )

I recently shot Bowling For Soup at the Academy Dublin, These guys came to Ireland as part of the One Big Happy Tour, Bowling For Soup really know how to put on one hell of a gig.With a band that are 18 years going they should be selling out much bigger venues. With hits like Girl All The Band Guy Wants, Emily, Punk Rock 101, High School Never Ends and many many more. They played to a sold out Academy, with support on the night came from two bands called Patent Pending and The Dollyrots, two very good support acts who done a great job warming up the crowd.

Ryan Sheridan live at the Uisneach Inn

Ryan Sheridan played to a full house at the Uisneach Inn in Westmeath.

I have been working as Ryan Sheridan's photographer; I started with shooting his four gigs around Dublin on Arthurs Day and then ended at the Uisneach Inn in Westmeath.

B.o.B live at The Olympia Theatre

I was back working in my favourite venue in Ireland, the Olympia Theatre, this time I was shooting rapper B.o.B. I only know a couple of his songs. But I will be honest and admit B.o.B puts on one hell of a gig.
I also caught up with him backstage, where I was shooting video of an interview with B.o.B and dj Dave Treacy from RTE Pulse.

Shane's Castle Co. Antrim (Work in progress)

I would like to start off by saying thank you to the following people who have been helping me with my research of Shane's Castle. I would like to thank the owner of Shane's Castle for allowing me access to what is private property and I would also like to thank Paranormal team East Coast Paranormal Investigations who are also helping me out on my research. Shane's Castle is full of so much history and I am set for weeks even months of working very closely with ECPI to complete my research into Shane's Castle

 

Shane's Castle is a ruined castle near Randalstown in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The castle is on the north-east shores of Lough Neagh. Built in 1345 by a member of the O'Neill dynasty, it was originally called Eden-duff-Carrick. Shane MacBrien O'Neill changed the name to Shane's Castle in 1722.

A terrace was built about the year 1800, in 1812 work was started to rebuild the castle to the designs of John Nash but the castle was devastated by a fire in 1816 and work abandoned. Only Nash's camellia house survives. In the 1860s a second house was built by Charles Lanyon and William Henry Lynn of Lanyon, Lynn and Lanyon, for the 1st Lord O'Neill. The demesne covers 2,600 acres along the shores of Lough Neagh.

The castle is used extensively in the HBO series Game of Thrones (TV series)
